FishSAFE Unit in
Since its launch there has been strong demand for the new FishSAFE Unit.
270 units have been sold at the price of £529 each plus VAT.
This price has been made possible by a grant from The European Fisheries Fund and the Scottish Ministers and by services provided without charge by FLTC Services Limited a not for profit company. FLTCS is supported by The Scottish Fishermen's Federation,The National Federation of Fishermen's Organisations and Oil and Gas UK. The company is funded by OGUK and by some of their member companies.
The heavily subsidised price applies to the first production run of the units only. Once the first units have been sold any further units ordered will not benefit from the grant awarded and are likely to cost considerably more than £529. Click here for further information about the unit.

Notice to Fishermen:
Incorrectly Functioning FishSAFE SD Cards
It has been confirmed that the FishSAFE SD cards distributed in late January 2016 to update the FishSAFE Alarm Unit, are not functioning correctly. This means fishermen are unable to update their FishSAFE Units with the latest data – FSIv31 – by SD card.
New SD cards are being produced, which will be supplied by SFF Services Limited to skippers over the next week. The new card should then be inserted as normal.
The new SD cards will be supplied with a red label, to signify these are correctly functioning cards. They will look as the image below:
Please note that FishSAFE Data supplied on CD and online is unaffected by this issue.
Skippers wishing to update their FishSAFE Units before the new SD card arrives, may do so by using the link below to download the file, which may be copied to an SD card and installed on the FishSAFE Unit.
