Repair & Maintenance Procedure

Repair and Maintenance of the FishSAFE unit

If you have any issues with your FishSAFE unit relating to any repairs or maintenance, please follow the procedure outlined below.

1. Free Repair Service

A Free Repair Service is available to remedy any defect which may arise through ordinary use of the unit within three years from the date on which the unit is first delivered to the first purchaser of that unit. The service may be provided onboard or the unit may require to be removed from the vessel and sent to a third party. If the service is carried out onboard the owner may be liable for any travel costs incurred. The procedure to obtain the service is set out below.

2. Spare Parts and Maintenance Service

In addition to the three year Free Repair Service a Spare Parts and Maintenance Service will be provided. Payment is required for this service. The service may be withdrawn at any time. The procedure to obtain the service is set out below.      

3. Procedure to Obtain Free Repair Service

  Step 1:   Contact Woodsons of Aberdeen Limited to report a fault - telephone Murray Park or Glynis Newman on 01224 722884 or alternatively email admin@woodsons.co.uk
       
  Step 2:   Woodsons will obtain details of the unit and the fault and will advise what action to take
       
  Step 3:   If required and if possible a replacement unit will be supplied on a temporary basis
       
  Step 4:   On completion of the repair Woodsons will contact the owner to arrange the return of the unit.
     

4. Procedure to Obtain Spare Parts and Maintenance Service

  Step 1:   Contact Woodsons of Aberdeen Limited to report a fault - telephone Murray Park or Glynis Newman on 01224 722884 or alternatively email admin@woodsons.co.uk
       
  Step 2:   Woodsons will obtain details of the unit and fault, will advise what action to take and will provide a quotation for provision of any spare part or maintenance service required.
       
  Step 3:   If instructed by the owner of a unit Woodsons will carry out the service required and will supply any spare part ordered. The owner of the unit will be responsible for payment of Woodsons' invoice.
       
  Step 4:   On completion of the repair Woodsons will contact the owner to arrange the return of the unit.
